FAQs
Doesn’t the venue manager do everything you do?
No. Venue managers are responsible for their space, focusing on setup, staff, and venue-specific needs. In hotels, for example, they often have multiple duties beyond your wedding, so their attention is split.
As the Wedding Hostess, I’m dedicated solely to you and your vision. I assist with planning beforehand, coordinate suppliers, manage the schedule, and handle announcements and guest logistics. While a venue manager oversees the venue, I ensure your day flows seamlessly, resolving any issues so you can relax and enjoy every moment.
Whats the difference between you and a toastmaster?
A toastmaster focuses on formality and tradition, often following a set script, whereas I provide a more modern and flexible approach. As the Wedding Hostess, I adapt to your unique vision, help with planning, coordinate suppliers, and manage the flow of the day—all while keeping things personal and stress-free.
Where toastmasters ensure traditions are upheld, I ensure your day reflects your personality, handling every detail so you can relax and enjoy the celebration.
Why should we hire a Wedding Host?
A wedding host ensures your day runs smoothly, handling everything from announcements to logistics, so you can focus on enjoying the day with your loved ones. Even if you don’t choose me - I strongly encourage you to have someone managing the day for you.
How early should we book your services?
It’s best to book as soon as possible to allow me to help you as much as I can, but if your wedding is 3 days away and you need a host, I will be there if I have availability (if this is the case, please schedule an appointment right this very second)
What happens if something goes wrong?
That’s exactly what I’m there for! I will respond quickly and resolve unexpected issues, ensuring your day continues smoothly without you or your guests even noticing.
How do you work alongside other vendors and suppliers?
I act as the point of contact for all vendors on the day, ensuring everyone is on the same page so the schedule stays on track and the event flows effortlessly.
Are you a wedding planner?
No, I am not a wedding planner. As a wedding host, I don't make decisions about vendors or the overall design of your wedding—that’s all entirely your choice. A wedding planner typically handles those aspects, guiding you through the entire planning process.
I ensure your carefully made plans are implemented seamlessly, manage the flow of the day, and handle any last-minute adjustments or issues. I work alongside your wedding planner or venue manager to ensure your vision is realised without stress.
Do you have any special offers?
Yes. I’m always after content. If you agree that I can bring my own photographer or videographer to capture me in action on your Wedding Day, I will give you a significant discount. Please contact me for more information.
